I have shared photos from this shoot x1000000000000000000
This day was utterly perfect and could have ACTUALLY been a real elopement dream for these two despite the fact that we had to turn around on the weird Detroit highways what felt like a million times.
We started at Belle Isle in the Conservancy and made our way to the fountain! After we headed back from Belle Isle we decided to hunt down the Michigan Building for our one last spot to take some shots before heading home!
I like to keep my styled shooting rather simple. I don't often involve a ton of vendors, etc. I like my styled shoots to be personal and something no one else can duplicate or take credit for doing, which is often why I have only ever worked alone or with only one or two other people on them.
Sometimes you see photographers who go to large workshops with multiple other vendors and photographers who create these massive styled shoots and while all of this is so great and looks amazing put together... I always end up thinking about the 10 to 15 other photographers who have the same exact shots in their camera of the same models, cake, and dress as I do. Now, of course no two photographers can truly take the same exact photo, but... I like knowing that my styled shoots are styled by me, shot by me, and in the hands of only me!
For this Styled Shoot, I worked with the *amazing Britt from Wild Things Bloom as my floral designer. I can't say enough about how amazing her bouquets always turn out!
Dress is from FashionNova.
Jewels are from Forever21.
Hair by me :)
Anyways, without further ado... here's me showing off Sammy and Jake for the billionth time this year!
